We recommend Snips and power snips for cutting roofing and siding material. We do NOT recommend the use of a circular saw.
If a circular saw must be used (operation will void the warranty):
Cut the sheet from its back side (non-exposed side) to prevent filings from damaging the paint or the sheet itself.
Remove any metal residues on the sheet as well as the cut ends.
Apply touch-up paint on cut areas.
It is advisable to install the material as soon as possible. If it needs to be stored, the ideal place is under a roof in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area.
